Description
This is my 1989 Wrangler 2.5L TBI 4WD, 5-speed manual transmission that has been extremely well-built with high quality modifications. This YJ has been very well maintained to be a reliable and fun toy for me. I haven't wheeled it, although it's more than capable, but it's been a summer cruising Jeep for me. Includes gray soft top, black bikini top, matching black half steel doors and gray upper soft windows. I've driven it seldom over the past five years of my ownership, and with limited garage space, it's time to find a new home. I built this up intending to keep it forever, but different priorities tend to take over. I purchased it from a fellow Jeep enthusiast five years ago who used it in a relatively stock build for commuting, and I have modified it along the way to its current state. Serviced regularly w/ FRAM Extended Guard high flow filters and Castrol GTX High Mileage 10W-40 synthetic blend oil as well as BG44K every third oil change. All fluids flushed and fresh, and I've done more preventative maintenance and replaced parts than were probably necessary. Starts on a dime, 4WD engages perfectly, no frame rust, no rot, surface rust minimal, floors are in good shape, undercoated and ready for another beach season. Paint is 7/10- it's original, but it's not peeling or flaking.I was planning on getting a new black top in a few years since the canvas on the gray is a bit dry, but it works and seals up nice.No A/C from factory, heat blows hot. Doesn't eat oil or leak anything and runs like a champ. Tagged historic in MD. Full Build:

I'm sure I'm leaving some stuff out, but you get the idea. Whoever gets this is getting a great, worry-free rig. I have a small stockpile of oil filters I'll include. The big service items have been done by two shops- S2 Dynamics in Rockville, MD (BMW/Audi performance shop that services my tuned Saab) who recently did my clutch a few months ago, motor mounts, and a few misc items, and TNJ Specialties in Westminster, MD, which is a Jeep-specific shop and has done some of my welding and suspension maintenance. Regular oil changes and bolt on items have typically been done by myself. I live in Olney, MD, which is halfway between Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD. Shipping is not included, but I can work with your shipper of preference to get it loaded up on this end. Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions. Clear MD title in hand.
