Description

For sale is my 1991 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. I’ve owned the Jeep for around six years now. It served as a daily driver for the majority of those years. It has sat doing nothing lately and I was going to make an off roader out of it, but I have plenty of other projects so it’s time to sell.

I’ll try to describe as best I can, if you are serious bidder please feel free to contact me with questions.

Don’t let the high miles scare you, I installed a rebuilt AMC 360 shortly after I bought it, this engine only has about 30K miles. It has a Racer brown cam with a nice upgraded profile, nothing crazy, Keith Black pistons, Edelbrock intake manifold, and a 4 bbl carburetor The TF 727 Transmission was gone though at the same time, it was in good shape so just a full service was done at the time.

It starts every time you turn the key, and shifts into gear very nicely. The Dana 229 transfer case and Dana 44 front and rear axles do not make any noises that will scare you either. Goes into 4wd no problem every time.

As you can see the clear coat has just about all fallen off. I’m pretty sure it is the original paint as there are no signs of major accidents anywhere. There are a few spots of concern which are highlighted in pictures. One small dent in a fender and one rust spot. Other than that this Jeep is solid. You won’t spend months doing body work on this Jeep, the floors are solid as is the rest of the body aside from previously mentioned issues. Faux wood paneling is worn as is the wood trim. The grill is from a 70’s model, I put it on because I think it looks better as well as the round headlights that every Jeep should have in my opinion.

Interior is a mix of good and bad. Seats and carpet show 300K miles for sure, but the dash is in good shape.I redid the headliner in tan digital camo a few years ago and it looks great. (white spots in the pic are from the camera) I get compliments on it all the time. The weatherTech mats pictured are included. The center console is an aftermarket unit I put in. The original armrest is significantly worn but will be included if you want it.

Power windows and locks work (for the most part) rear locks tend to go on strike now and then and you have to manually operate them. Windows aren’t winning any races but they work. The Stereo is an alpine with Bluetooth, CD and other nice stuff. There are replacement speakers too, don’t expect audiophile sound, it’s a decent stereo, that’s it.

The jeep is not perfect my any means. It WILL need some TLC but it is reliable and you can drive it while you work on it. The AC will blow cold, but will need a recharge. I usually fill it every other year. Tires are ok, they’ll last you a little while but they are starting to crack on the sidewalls. Most people who buy this will want to lift it and put bigger tires on it so I’m not going to bother putting new tires on it.

Speaking of extra parts. I have plenty that will be included in the final price if the winning bidder wants them.

  • Original Grill assembly
  • Tailgate carpet (worn)
  • Tailgate and rear cargo trim (rear cargo carpet is gone)
  • Vacuum pump (with hoses)
  • Extra Alternator
  • Original Visors (need recovering)
  • Other parts, (ask if you are a serious bidder.)

What you see is pretty much what you get. Its not the best Wagoneer out there for sale but its not the worse either. It doesn’t need a whole lot to be a really nice truck. You’ll get people everywhere stopping to ask you about your Wagoneer. Everyone loves these things and the value is going up every day. You can’t go wrong buying one of these.

Feel free to come by and look at it in person. I encourage it.

I am listing this locally as well, so I reserve the right to end the listing at any time.
