Description
Very clean rust free 1983 Jeep CJ7. Runs perfect, 4.2 straight 6, headers & mufflers sound strong, often mistaken for V-8. Manual transmission with high and low range.Fluids fresh in differentials, transfer case and transmission. Front end is tight, no play in parts.Steering u-joint feels a little sloppy.
Clean & clear title. Manual steering, no a/c. 4 speed manual transmission.
No rust on body or frame other than light on bare metal parts.
Please also notice this has a lift on it. It sits taller than a factory CJ7.
33 x 14.50 x 15 tires are good on tread but old and need to be replaced due to small cracks throughout. I would not drive it a long distance with these tires, even though they look good.Again you CAN NOT DRIVE THIS VEHICLE A LONG DISTANCE WITHOUT REPLACING THE TIRES.
I have a shop and I am a Cooper Dealer. I can mount & balance any tire you want and align it. I have not replaced them because I would put on Cooper AT3 in 33 x 12.50 x 15. I don't want to do this if someone wants something more aggressive . Buy it at the listed price and I will include a new set of 4 Cooper A/T3 mounted, balanced and aligned, or make an offer and supply your own tires. I'd be happy to put them on for you no charge if you want to ship them to my shop.
Sound system not hooked up and I have not tried .
Everything works as it should, top in excellent condition along with sun cover. Tear on drivers seat cover as shown in photos.
Mileage on vehicle is since restoration, I do not know mileage before.
Deposit by paypal as soon as you buy it. Non-refundable. Balance cash only unless prior arrangements are made.
Only trade I would be interested in is a gooseneck stacker enclosed trailer that could haul 2 or more cars.

On Jul-13-17 at 06:53:50 PDT, seller added the following information:The question was asked does it come with doors. Yes, The doors are the soft kind with zip up windows and a metal frame. They were new with the top so all is matching. I tried to post the reply & photos on the auction but it didn't seem to work. If you send me a question I can attach the photos. I don't know if you'll get them or not due to Ebays LOUSY customer service and policies but I can try.

It is a 4 speed . The gear ratios are "long" so it has freeway cruising speed no problem. The straight 6 has plenty of torque. Of course it has high and low range .
