There's absolute no rust. It was originally a California Jeep. .The transmission is a rebuilt NV3550, so it actually shifts like a modern car. The transfer case is the original Dana 300.
The entire chassis is lined with dynomat. Then the front has a vinyl floor on top. The bed and side walls were then covered with bed liner. Then on top of that is a Dee Zee bed mat.All of this reduced the heat significantly. I dynomatted the bed because I added the back seat.
The paint is good, not great. It's like a light bedliner coating. It's really cool and durable. It's has withstood plenty of mud and brush, and it still looks really good.I added YJ roll bar extensions. They help with getting in and out of the car.Like all CJ's the cable pulls suck. But everything works.Pioneer stereo and speakers.
The jeep is really sharp lookin and runs like a bat outta hell (for a 258).
