1985 Jeep CJ7 Laredo

1985 Jeep CJ7 Laredo – 4.2L 5spd. The odometer reads 119,425. Tires Michelin LTX A/T 31x10.5x15. The jeep has recently gone through the shop and had the following items fixed, repaired or replaced. The paint is in great shape. The interior I believe is the original Laredo package. The jeep does have a clock and tach. The tires are in great shape as well as the chrome wheels. At this time I believe everything is working on the jeep. The jeep also comes with hard top and steel doors. The professional evaluation of this 32 year old jeep is that the jeep is in very good shape. In the spirit of being honest I have also provided a short list of what the jeep will still need to further restore it. The jeep is always garaged.

Installed a new weber carburetor

Installed a new steering column to fix Ignition tumbler, release button, turn signals

Replace Passenger headlight plug

Replaced Brake booster hose, pads and rotors

Fixed defrost (needed for PA inspection)

Fixed Windshield washers - did not squirt (needed for PA inspection)

Replaced Left front axle u-joint

Replaced Right engine mount (needed for PA inspection)

Replaced Trans mount (needed for PA inspection)

Replaced Front drive shaft

Replaced Rear driveshaft u joints

Replaced Front right spring and shackle bushings

Fixed Right rear shackle hanger bolt - was broken inside frame

Repaired Left rear frame at body mount(needed for PA inspection)

Replaced black Bumperettes with chrome ones

Installed new carpet

Installed new Laredo decals

Installed new front frame cover in front of grill

Installed new dash pad

Installed new rearview mirror

Installed new center console

Installed new roll bar padding

Installed chrome windshield knobs

Installed new hood accessories for tying down windshield

Installed new shifter knobs

Installed new front floor mats

Installed chrome door sills

What the jeep still needs

Steering box has play, drag link also has play, and steering shaft coupler needs to be rebuilt and an alignment

Body bushings need to be replaced

Light switch needs to be replaced (have new switch)

Need new stereo and rear speakers (optional)
