Description

The Spring Special CJ's were only produced in limited numbers, this one is a
1985 AMC/Jeep CJ7 with 115k ORIGINAL miles. This Jeep HAS NOT BEEN lifted or modified in any way and sits on its original chrome wagon wheel rims (including the spare) and original suspension, tires are Cooper Discoverer STT 32x11.50x15 with around 75% tread life left on them. Jeep has very solid floors, frame, rear floor. 4.2 litre with 5 spd manual transmission, valve cover has already been replaced with a cast aluminum one. There is a working 9000 lb Superwinch on the front bumper, controller is with the Jeep. I have driven this Jeep and believe the clutch/pressure plate/throw out bearing are all original to the vehicle so please keep that in mind. You are able to get in this CJ and drive it and enjoy it or you can restore it while you enjoy it. Either way this is a vehicle you can get and drive and it needs nothing major done to it.
Interior is in very good condition, all roll bar padding is in place, all instruments on dash work including all of the original accessory controls. Dash has NOT been cut up and is not rusted at all. Has lockable center console and lockable under seat storage under the rear seat. Top and windows are in good shape, a couple of the snaps on the top need replacing but nothing is torn or ripped and windows are clear with light scratches. Also has a set of half soft doors that come with it that appear to be original to the Jeep and a bimini top still in the box under the back seat.
There are a couple of rust/rotted areas on the tub under the doors on both sides and one spot on the rear of the Jeep, all shown in the pics. I was told the hood and windshield frame were damaged in a storm but both were replaced with OEM pieces which is very obvious when you see it.
