1979 Jeep CJ5 Vortec V6 CPI Motor

1979 jeep cj5 project,

Selling for some good friends, All info has been provide by current owner,

Can get answers to most any question as well as more pics, Ebay only allows 24, but we do have a lot more,

This jeep has a fuel injected v6 with power steering, power front disc brakes, and hydraulic clutch.

Motor start up and runs fine, Just has open header, no exhaust back from there yet,

The hydraulic clutch is install but the linkage is not hooked up the the forks so clutch does not engage at this point, Will need to be finished,

Body has some surface rust, on the outside lower rockers, minor on lower front fenders,

Has dash mounted key switch, also rockers for the fuel pump and other accessories,

No rust inside, Floor are solid, rear floor by were roll bar mounts are solid, (They all rust out there), overall TUB is in decent shape.

The frame is in excellent shape with only surface rust. As well are the Body mount on frame and tub,

The body has been bedlined, Inside Black and the Outside Blue, Both look like it was done a while ago,

Rust on the rockers look like who ever did the bed liner on the outside just sprayed over some surface rust and it is bubbling back thru the spay liner,

Inside of the tub in these ares are very solid,

Seats and top are like new. Both seats have fold up risers on them, No rear seat because of new fuel tank,

Also has after market floor mount seat belt, Very solid,

i was told it has a 4" skyjacker complete spring lift, That has next to no miles on it,

Both front and rear axle have been switched out to be 1981 or newer wide track axles with front disc brakes,

After market WARN locking hubs,

Has pretty much all new brake lines, including some braided liner in the front,

New rear LED tail and back up lights, Still need to be wired in,

It doesn't need much to get it on the road, below are the parts that were installed and what else it needs.

95 Chevy Vortec CPI 4.3 v6, I was told 94,000 original miles,

New weld in Chevy motor mount bracket,

3 row aluminum radiator with electric fan and custom shroud,

New high torque starter

Howell engine harness

Custom, Rebuilt Front and Rear driveshafts

Electric fuel pumps with before and after fuel filters

Jeep t150 3 speed transmission

Advanced adapters bellhousing

Advanced adapters clutch

Advanced adapters hydraulic clutch

Jeep stock Dana 20 transfer case

Jeep stock Dana 30 and model 20 axles

35" Mud Terrains, on Daystar 15" x 10"? aluminum rims, Have center caps for rear only,

Custom Roll bar with full front hop, and twin top intermediate bars,

New fuse block with modern fuses,

4 inch lift

Rci aluminum fuel cell & all new fuel lins

Sanderson headers

Led tail lights

Things that it needs to get on the road, exhaust needs to be completed from headers back,, front brakes and overall brakes gone through. Needs to have lights and some gauges wired. Fuel pump will need to be New transmission crossmember, just has a temporary one in it now. Clutch adjusted, jeep does start and run just not road worthy at this time.

Jeep was bought as a project, pretty much just as it is, Lost storage and work are, Will not be able to complete this cool project,
