FULLY RESTORED 4X4 YJ, 5.3L LS SWAP, 4L60E, PWR FRNT DISCS/STEERING, SOLID JEEP!

Description

This is a very cool YJ that has been built to drive. Starting with a super clean truck that must have lived a gentle life in a fair-weather environment, it was upgraded with a bigger motor and stronger trans before the attention was turned to new paint and interior. Receiving the best of everything along the way, this first year YJ is a top of the line, sport luxury makeover second to none.
A fresh coat of gray paint in a color you won't find on a factory Jeep, has been nicely applied to this YJ. All the metal appears to be original and in great shape. There are no signs of repairs or of any rust ever on the body. A custom, matte black hood design was painted on, and trimmed in red pinstriping. The cowl grill and headlight bezels have also been painted black, and Jeep, along with a new engine badge on the fender continue the black with red outline theme. There are aftermarket front and rear bumpers, as well as flush LED tail lights, with smoked front turn signals and marker light lenses. The hard top and doors are also in great shape, having received new window seals for the factory glass, and also having been coated with a high quality, Durabak, urethane. The Klever MT Kenda tires are also part of the great look of this YJ, and, are suggestive of the ingenuity involved in this build.
Step inside this Jeep and you will find yourself surrounded by high line luxury that is backed up by serious capability. You may enjoy it primarily on the street, but know that if you take it off road, it will be able to take you further than you had imagined. Open the door and you will immediately notice the new door panels with entry way guards. You may not notice, but will appreciate, that new door seals have also been installed. New black carpets and Rugged Ridge bucket seats are comfortable and have the matching, fold and tumble seat in the rear. White faced Auto Meter Phantom gauges include the required Tach, speedo, and fuel, but also keep accurate tabs on water temp, trans temp, oil pressure, and voltage. There is an override to keep the engine fan running full time for low speed, high demand, 4-wheeling, and a Panasonic head unit with sound bar mounted to the padded roll cage for your listening pleasure. A custom, Ammo box center console, was nicely fabricated and mounted for your comfort and convenience.
The drivetrain upgrades came largely courtesy of an '01 Silverado. The 5.3L LS engine stayed matched to its 4-speed automatic overdrive trans and transfer case, for a well matched, integrated system that starts right up every time without hesitation. Temps are kept under control by a 3-row aluminum radiator with built in trans cooler. It cruises down the highway with ease, and has plenty of power to turn those 32X11.50R15 M/T tires mounted on Pacer 164P wheels if you hit the trails. A modest 2" body lift gives it the clearance it needs for those tires, and also makes this YJ look awesome, sitting just the way it should. Rough Country shocks are proven performers and work well with the factory leaf springs and brakes. Finally, the power steering box is protected by a Captain America shield visible from the front of the vehicle to let everyone know that this YJ is a force to be reckoned with.
