Description

One of a kind Jeep CJ8 Scrambler. Built on a one-off Throttle Down Custom frame that features a custom 4-link coil spring setup in the rear and spring over leafs in the front. The frame also features built in heavy duty front bumper with Warn winch and a rear bumper with a swing out tire carrier. The Jeep has custom High Pinion Dana 44 and rear Full Floater Dana 60. Both axles have all new axles, bearings, seals, brakes (4 wheel disc brakes) and ARB Air Lockers. The front end has high steer, steering components. All four tires are brand new BFG Mud Terrain tires (35x12.5x17) on new aluminum rims. The engine is a Cummins 4BTAA (turbo and intercooled) connected to a NV4500 and Atlas 3.8:1 transfer case. The engine has approximately 25,000 miles, while the trans was rebuilt and the transfer case is brand new. The braking brake is mounted to the transfer case.
This project started out a rust free tub that was covered in Linex bedliner. The tub was professionally painted in a beautiful high glass metallic gray paint. Poison Spyder Custom tube fenders and full corner were power coated to match the tub while the rocker covers were powder coated crinkle black. The interior has a custom dash that includes all new gauges. The stock seats were replaced by Neoprene covered Corbeau Seats front and rear. A Tuffy console and glove box will help keep your stuff safe. The top is a GR8TOPS (has slight clip from shipping) and rebuilt factory doors that feature powder coated aluminum door panels.
This Jeep was meant to be my dream Jeep, but we all know dreams don't always come true. I was injured at work a few years back and I am not able to work on the Jeep any more. The Jeep does need a few things finished up to make the Jeep complete. I am moving soon and my new place doesn't have a garage. As you can see from the pictures and description that only quality parts will used. The Jeep is cross listed. Let me know if you have any questions.
