I priced this Jeep well under it's retail value and current build value for the Jeep it is today. * If you just buy a project Jeep CJ 5 that is not rusted out and retains original rust free metal and floor pans as a project *then rebuild everything like done to this one, you will end up spending well into the high 20 price range or more. Just go ask your local 4 wheel drive shop how much to rebuild everything under a CJ front to rear. (Save your money this one is done). It's a CALIFORNIA CJ5. A Factory V8 CJ that has been completely rebuilt front to rear. Everything under this Jeep has less than 3,000 driven miles on it. It runs and drives as good or better today than the day it was sold new. It was aLEVI package CJ when sold new 42 years ago. Original Levi logo was retained on side for cool factor. The original body paint color was paint code 6R = Brilliant Blue. Jeep was re-painted a few years back per prior owner. Paint not new but respectable and this CJ get's a lot of complements on how stock looking, original and sanitary it is. It's Nice! *You just don't see many CJ this pure and original anymore. It's not cut up, not molested of parts, not altered. *It's one of the very few classic CJ that you will see driving on the freeway or driven on longer out of state road trips! * When the last time you saw a original V8 CJ5 pass you on the freeway!All stock factory gearing retained so this CJ is very road worthy and user friendly on the pavement. SEE DRIVING VIDEO. It'sa Factory V8 304 motor CJ that was just completely rebuilt less than 1,000 driven miles ago on new motor. I also had theJeep T-150 manual transmission just completelyrebuilt new. A new clutch and throw out bearing also installed. The new rebuilt rear-end, drive line, yokes, drop skid plate kit, trans mounts all replaced 200 driven miles ago! The 4 by 4 Dana transfer case also inspected, adjusted and resealed. All 4 by 4 in like new working order!Many other items also rebuilt or replaced toensure the best driveability and reliability of a classic CJ. have gone over every inch of the CJ more than once andrepaired or replaced anything not in correct working. Today everything work's as it should.IT'S TURN KEY DONE - READY TO DRIVE AND ENJOY. All electrical is in great working order. All lights work correct the Dash lights, Gauges, Gas Gauge, Heater, Horn, Window wipers and even the little things like "window washer sprayers" work. The factory EmergencyBrake, Factory back up lights, Under dash floor courtesy lights, Light dimmer, High beam indicator, Brake warning light all work SEE ELECTRICAL VIDEO! New suspension springs, bushings so it = Rides nice. New Steering gear box and many steering parts = Drives nice! Jeep has front disc brakes, factory drum on rear = Stops nice, stops straight. New fresh built V8 motor = Runs and performs outstanding. New rebuilt Jeep T-150 manual transmission, clutch and clutch part = Shifts and down shifts very nice! All 4 Wheel drive in great working order! The original Jeep AMC 20 rear end was also upgraded to one piece solid axle = Stronger than stock. Rear end also just rebuilt new. No gearing change - stock gearing rebuilt with what it came with off the show room. Not rock crawler gearing! No axle wrap, no shake, no vibration under this Jeep. * It really drive's nice down the road way ( Fun to drive). Jeep fitted with full Family Roll Cage to cover both front and rear passengers for better safety = Both on and off road use. New front window glass and rubbers installed. Jeep also has a Full Soft top with Full soft doors for year round cold weather driving. Top is not new but looks very respectable and gets the job done. Un molested under the hood = * Jeep even still retains its factory smog parts 42 years later in working order (That's rare for sure). Yes it even passed California EPA smog inspection, Yes California still requires smog inspection on 42 year old classics. Current plates good until 2019.
