1955 JEEP CJ-5,327 4BBL V8 275hp.Solid project,starts, needs finishing

Up for auction is a project Jeep CJ5.
The Jeep project was started by the previous owner. The Jeep has a new wiring kit, fiberglass fenders, dual Flowmaster style mufflers. We were able to start the engine and it sounds healthy (only had it running for a few seconds at a time). The engine has been date coded from the engine stamping and block #s as a mid 60's Chevy factory four barrel 275hp 327. A good foundation to finish per your tastes/needs. Overall the Jeep has a solid frame, does have filler under the primer which is to be expected. Only what you see in the pictures is what we have (missing some driveline, windshiel, etc.). We do have a California title for this Jeep.
The vehicle is sold as-is and as equipped. However, you are welcome to come see and/or inspect the car before the end of the sale. Payment is due in full within seven days of the end of the auction. All in-state sales and/or California buyers are subject to sales tax, doc. & lic. feed. In California, all vehicles over ten years old are sold miles 'exempt'. Transportation is the responsibility of the buyer.
