Description

I purchased the car one year ago from theseller, whose father had it for 13 years. Drove the car from Brooklyn to Chicago and used it as a daily driver in the city since.
The car has been repainted in Metallic Blue and has been treated with XPEL protective film on the lower panels. New door and hatch seals, along with outer window wiper-seals were installed. Patriot rear splash guards have been added behind the rear wheels, and a set of PIAA fog lights are worn on the front bumper. Other exterior modifications include removal of the original quarter vent windows and a factory antennae delete.
Dynamat insulation has been added to the interior, along with a Pioneer Bluetooth head-unit, Polk Audio amplifier, 10” subwoofer, Focal Ligne front speakers, and MB Quartz rear speakers. Other modifications include a set of power front seats from a later model Grand Cherokee.

A set of late-model 16” Jeep wheels are currently fitted and the brake, steering, and suspension systems have been upgraded with the following components:

Things that I never bothered to address in the car as I drove for so little:

  • Power door locks are weak.
  • Driveline thumps a bit, it goes away once the Jeep is in motion for a while.
  • Rear window washer spray nozzle does not work it’s clogged and needs to be replaced.
  • Right rear window can get stuck if it goes all the way down.
  • Front seats need to be recovered as the leather is cracking and splitting.
  • Subwoofer amp needs to be replaced.
