Description

I have a really cool Jeepster for sale. We used to keep this Jeepster at our lake house in Kentucky and drive around the lake and to the beach. I would consider this a "work in progress" or a "project". She looks good from 10 ft away, but the paint & woodwork is an amateur job. There is a 3 speed transmission that shifts fine, but she wont go into 4WD. There is something wrong with the transfer case or shifter. I have not yet looked into this as I keep it in 2WD anyway. New brake pads were added last year, but still needs adjusted & bled as she is pulling to one side.
There is quite a bit of rust underneath the floors and rockers. The previous owner welded and bolted in some plate steel over top of the old floors and rockers, so she is pretty solid now, but the you can still see the old rust areas. There is also rust on the frame. I have not seen any holes or complete rust through areas.
If the rust issues don't bother you too much, you can still cruise around and work on the rust repairs as you go.
I have a good Kentucky title as well.

Pros: Original V6 runs great, carburetor was just sent out for rebuild by Guaranteed Carburetors in Florida. (update-carb float seems to be sticking..spoke with the carb repair shop and they said I could ship back to them, but I'm going to wait and see how the auction goes. Can still hear the engine run )New Pertronix ignition, seats in good shape. Rear seat cover is new.New gas tank. New brake padsTires are about 50 % worn
Cons:Underneath floor and rockers are very rusted, but previous owner had plate steel installed.Have original hardtop with good glass, but it is also rusty and in rough shape. Glass and liftgate removed from top.Paint job is amateur-looks good from far away-same with the woodwork. The 4WD is currently not working. The 4WD shifter seems loose or not connected.

We have had a lot of fun with this Jeepster, but another project has come along that I am interested in.
I reserve the right to end this auction early as I do have the vehicle for sale locally as well.
Thanks for looking!!!
