Originally purchased in 2009.3 years ago got sick of the rot on frame and tub, reused the drivetrain andreplaced the tub/fenders/hood with fiberglass and replaced frame. Has less than 500 miles since put back together, only driven around town. Below is a list of what was installed new during the rebuild:
Brake system – power brake unit, master cylinder, stainless steel brake lines, front rotors and calipers, rear drums
Electrical system – Painless wiring harness, hei ignition, alternator
Fuel tank and lines
Leaf springs, shocks, body mounts
Tires
Clutch
Stainless steel front bumper and rear bumperettes
Side stepbars
Soft top/doors and all weather trail cover
Riptech WipeBoy windshield wipers (so much better than stock)
Kenwood marine radio and Polk speakers
Front seats, center console, dash pad
Some new parts already show rust, things aren’t made to last these days! I changed a lot of the fasteners to stainless steel after I saw things started rusting so quickly.
Motor was rebuilt by prior owner at 85k miles.
Body has dings/scratches, needs to be painted if you want it lookpretty.
Comes with some spare parts I never saw the need tochange/install (new starter, new ball joints, air conditioning, etc.)
Factory service manual on cd.
I have the title from previous owner, Rhode Island does not title vehicles manufactured prior to 2001.
