1985 CJ7 Renegade Frame off RestMod

Description

This CJ7 has undergone a complete frame off restoration. During this process the suspension was upgraded to ARB YJ springs, HD steering components, HEI ignition, YJ family cage (3 point belts for the back seat), Tuffy consol and glove box.
The motor was gone through, the top end had been done by the previous owner (and the compression supports that) new rear main seal, fuel pump, distributor(HEI), power steering pump, Offenhauser intake with Holley 390 Quad, Headmann long tube headers. T-176 Trans resealed, Dana 300 complete rebuild new bearings and seals along with a J&B twin stick.
The frame along with any metal components that could be salvaged were media blasted to bare metal, POR15, then the appropriate painted finish applied. The entire vehicle is RUST FREE... and should remain so for a long time. All new brake components from the master cylinder to the wheel cylinders/calipers including ALL hard and soft lines. The fuel system received a similar upgrades (OEM oversized poly tank) ALL new lines. The axles were completely rebuilt with new seals and bearing including one piece shafts in the the rear. ALL drive line U Joints have been replaced. The Tub is finished in TUFF COAT on the under side as well as the interior with a fresh Torch Red paint job. Complete Bestop with tinted rear windows and soft doors.
She is rolling on General Grabber (Red Labels) 33X12.5R15 with satin black powder coated rims. The side rails and dash received the same satin powder coating finish. The entire wiring harness (painless) has been replaced and ALL lighting has been upgraded to LED. Pioneer Stereo (in the console)with 6x9s in pods between the cage and rear fender wells. The dash is Alumn. diamond plate powder coated satin black with all new gauges, switches and controls.
This is a very complete restoration. I build one CJ every couple of years. Let me know if you need any additional details or pictures. This is a real pleasure to drive. Less than 500 miles since completed... but I will be enjoying!
