Description

CLEAN CARFAX V8 4X4 VERY NICE INSIDE AND OUT!!!! THIS ONE WAS VERY WELL MAINTAINED!!!! POWER SEATS + WINDOWS BOOKS ACCUSOUND BY JENSEN AUDIO VERY VERY CLEAN WAGONEER THIS ONE IS AS NICE AS A 1990 MODEL YOU WILL FIND IM SURE OF IT PIONEER HEAD UNIT LEATHER TOW PACKAGE LIVED IN FORT PAYNE ALABAMA ITS WHOLE LIFE WELL SERVICED 1990 is one of the more collectible model years for the classic Grand Wagoneer and this is an exceptional example. ...This woody lived its entire life in Fort Payne Alabama and has had three owners all from the same town.Restoration began in 2012 with new timing chain belts hoses water and oil pump distributer cap spark plugs and wires thermostat high output altenator new shocks steering damper brakes totally rebuilt four new leaf springs new dual exhaust system. Universal joint is new. It has a new fuel sensor in the tank and a new speedometer cable. Whitewall tires have were purchased and now have 5k miles on them. New Old stock hood emblem was installed. In 2013 it was stripped to the metal inside and out and repainted the original color factory aluminum bumpers and luggage were stripped polished and powder coated w a clear coat. All four factory rims were machined to get rid of all blemishes and then repainted/powder coated. All wood grain was replaced with 3M (the type used at the factory). 3 of four window motors were replaced with new and the rear window motor tailgate switch and wiring harness was replaced. A new headlight wiring harness has been installed to get rid of the low voltage brown tint most classic cars have. The headlights are nice and bright. All other lights have been replaced with LED interior and exterior. The transfer case has been rebuilt with new seals as has the rear chunk. The old headliner has been taken out and replaced with a new one. All rubber gaskets for the doors and tailgate are new except the ones around the triangle vents. Those were purchased yet didn’t need replacing they are included with the spare parts in the back of the wagon. Also included for installation is a new charcoal cannister (which was included in this model but had been removed at some point in the past). 4 new power window racks are included to be installed this will speed up the windows as the old racks are stiff and slow. There is also a set of replacement body bushings included in the box.The air conditioner compressor is was replaced two summers ago along with the high compression hose and expansion valve. Air is very cold. A couple of things you need to know. When its cold turn it over and pat on the pedal a few seconds. Then on the second try hold it to the floor. It will crank up and probably go dead. On the second crank it will run fine.If you turn it over and nothing happens reach through the steering wheel grab the gear shift and pull it towards you then turn the key. I think that multi switch that is buried in the steering column causes this and there is a new switch in that box in the cargo area but it only happens a couple of times a year so I have never pulled the column. The only thing that doesn’t work is the intermittent wipers its just a problem with the switch in that cheap replacement blinker stem I installed. They worked fine with the original but it was faded so I bought one off ebay the originals are still available and much higher quality. You must lower the tailgate window to open the tailgate. It lowers with the key from the tailgate or with the toggle switch on the left side dash. If you surveyed a hundred waggoneer’s to see how the tailgate window works you wouldn’t find 5 that work correctly. I put a heck of a lot of time and effort into that thing and it works like new. Woody people will eat that up. YOU MUST LET THE TAILGATE GLASS ALL THE WAY DOWN TO OPEN OR CLOSE THE TAILGATE!!!Many a rear window have died when someone slams it with partially opened glass which hits the window track and breaks.
