Wagoneer Limited with only 52k miles
Description
Times and priorities have a way of changing and for me they have. Unfortunately I need to part with my 1981 Jeep Wagoneer that I purchased in April of 2018. I purchased this vehicleafter its restoration by Grand Wagoneer by Classic Gentlemen and completedmultipleupgrades after taking delivery. In this description I am including the original description by *Classic Gentlemen followed by a list of the additional improvements I had done.*Grand Wagoneer by Classic Gentleman, internationally recognized as a leading buyer and seller of low mile, excellent condition Wagoneers, presents this vintage 1981 Jeep Wagoneer Limited. She was a one owner Wagoneer for just under 35 years and has traveled just 52,200 miles in that time. (That is an incredible, under 1,500 miles per year). We have an Actual Mile Pennsylvania Title along with both Carfax & Autocheck confirming the recorded miles and no accidents ever reported. This 1981 Wagoneer Limited owes her low miles and brilliant condition down to the fact that she was a summer only cottage SUV for the original owners, never taken out in the winter and stored indoors when not used. This one is for all you Wagoneer traditionalist who are looking for the original styling form of the Wagoneer with the simple grill, round gauges and wrap around taillights along with low miles and in beautiful condition. Keep in mind the model name “Grand Wagoneer” wasn’t used by Jeep until 1984, before that year, if you wanted the ultra plush Wagoneer you had to order the “Wagoneer Limited”.The Dark Baltic Blue Exterior paint was just applied in the last 2,000 miles and is as handsome in person as the images project. The wood siding and trim were replaced and new white wall tires mounted at the same time as the painting. We also fitted a new front grill to really make our lady pop. The balance of the exterior chrome and aluminum bits are original and while not in brand new condition, exhibit just normal wear and aging reflecting the overall low actual miles. The Grand’s cabin is as sharp as the outside wrapper. The light beige leather seats are in very good condition along with the dash, headliner and on and on. The oh so nice original brown shag carpeting still presents in very good form with only light wear evident. More proof that this vintage sled has averaged less than 1,500 miles per year. (The exceptions are carpet wear of just a few inches in the rear corners of the cargo area and a small amount of wear near the gas pedal). The rear cargo mat covers the two small corners with wear and of course floor mats cover near the gas pedal. It is inexpensive to replace all the carpeting with new but you can’t find shag carpet anywhere, anymore and as such, new carpeting would lose that uber cool 1981 “Rock & Roll” feel. The air conditioning, heat and all power windows (rear window operates via dash switch only) and the power seats, are all functioning properly. The cruise control is not operating but even when new, that option was rubbish anyway. The V8 360ci engine, transmission and the 4 wheel High and Low settings have all been serviced and are performing just as they should. That beautiful engine bay is a testament to not only the low miles driven over the years but the great care this Grand has always enjoyed. Please take a look at the additional upgrades below....
