Description

1977 Jeep CJ-7

We purchased this awesome Jeep about a year ago, and put a fair amount of blood, sweat, and tears into it. Every time we drive it, we giggle because it’s stupid-fun. Why are we selling it? Our son has recently gotten his driver’s license, and we wanted to purchase a vehicle for him. As you can see in the pictures and video, we’re out of room to park all of our vehicles! Even though we don’t want to, it’s time to let some of them go so the mailman can once again access our mailbox. I’ve made a YouTube video where I have my wife crank up the Jeep so you can hear it roar, cycle through all the lights, turn signals, horn, etc, and went around the vehicle so you could get a better idea of what you’re bidding on outside of just the pictures. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iQH9169dI80

What you see here is a 1977 Jeep CJ-7. Under the hood is a Ford 302 V-8 engine that sounds like it wants to eat something, and turns the 33’’ wheels with ease. Tires are still in good shape with plenty of tread. 3-speed manual transmission. It comes equipped with an electronic fuel pump to dump plenty of fuel into the Holley 4-barrel carb, and electric radiator fans controlled by a lighted LED switch on the dashboard for the high performance aluminum radiator. The vehicle comes with drum brakes and manual steering; both function normally. There are spots that you’ll see in the photos where the body has rusted in spots but further rusting has been prevented by the previous owner adding rhino liner to the vehicle. No rusting problems on the frame – it is solid. Some of the gauges on the dash are not functioning normally, I haven’t gotten to those yet.

In the past year that we’ve owned this vehicle, I’ve replaced / fixed / repaired the following:

- Installed brand new chrome tilt steering column, steering wheel, and horn
- Installed windshield arms, linkage, wipers and motor
- Ran wiring and installed turn signals
- Ran wiring and installed new brake lights / reverse lights and turn signals for the rear
- Custom hand grenade shifter knob (badass lol) and painted red highlighting throughout the Jeep including D-rings
- Brand new bikini top (hasn’t even been exposed to the elements yet)
- Brand new roll bar black denim pad / cover with fire extinguisher and holder
- Repaired / replaced parking brake so it’s functional
- New air filter and cleaner
- LED headlights and tail lights
- Brand new U-joints in main driveshaft
- and more

This vehicle is being sold as-is. It is already a capable vehicle ready for off-road fun, or cruising the beach. Shipping will be the buyer’s responsibility. A $500 deposit is required within 48 hours via PayPal.
