Description

Up for auction is a 1990 Jeep Grand Wagoneer.Unfortunately, time has come to sell, I have too many toys and not enough time.On the outside it is all original body work with the exception of a grille from a 1977 Jeep Cherokee, underneath it is all Chevy. The original drive line was removed and replaced with a 5.3L LM7 and NP241C from a 1999 Chevy Silverado 1500 and a remanufactured 4L80E from a 1993 Suburban 2500. It was originally built in 2009, you can read about the details here:http://www.ifsja.org/forums/vb/showthread.php?t=102329. I have owned it since 2014, and have enjoyed it thoroughly. I have driven it daily, and have driven it on many trips, to include from NC to CA when I moved last year. Only issue was a bad ignition relay (which was replaced). Suspension is a BDS 4" lift with Bilstein 5125 shocks and 31x10.5 General Grabber A/Tx tires with about 5,000 miles. The interior is in good shape. Autometer gauges replaced the original gauges when the new drive line was installed but the fuel level is unreliable. The front seats have been replaced with power seats out of a 1993 Suburban and are really comfortable. The interior carpet was replaced a number of years ago and the floor pan was bed lined and sound deadener added. The rear trunk area has a rubber mat instead of carpet. All the windows function, including the rear window, but the rear lock on the tailgate doesn't work. The Alpine CD player is vintage late 90s. New speakers throughout, as well as sealed LED headlights and replacement bulbs for all other lights (LED relays installed as well). I replaced the old rusty fuel tank skid with a Team Grand Wagoneer replacement and the old lower steering shaft and rubber bushing with the u-joint style Cherokee XJ lower shaft. All new General Grabber tires, ball joints and steering in September last year, as well as brakes, 145 amp alternator and accessory drive belt. There is rust on the rockers, lower doors and rear quarter panels. Check out the pictures, I tried to get the best shots I could so you know what you are getting. Underneath is solid, as with most of these old Jeeps the lower body work is suffering. If you want anymore pictures, just let me know.
Drive line has approx 110,XXX miles, Body and frame are about 270,000 miles.
The Jeep is currently registered in Florida but located in San Diego, CA. Clear title in hand.
