GOT TO SEE TO fully APPRECIATE:It is a full restoration from frame up and always garaged.....see multiple pics, and I can send any specific pic desired.This IS NOT your Jeep Scrambler modified for the woods.....it's better than President RonaldRegan's.....look at his and then compare.....no comparison to it and most others for sale.

NOTE:so why am I selling such a prize....need some funds for another project:restoring a 1949 5-Window Chevy Pick-Up Truck.

Automotive History of the Jeep CJ-8:The Jeep CJ-8 was a long wheel-base version of the CJ-7, introduced in 1981 and manufactured through 1986. It featured a 103 inch wheelbase and a removable half-cab, creating a small pick-up style box instead of utilizing a separate pickup bed. CJ-8s used the traditional transfer case with manual front-locking hubs to engage the four-wheel drive. Most had either a four or five speed manual transmission, but a three speed automatic transmission was an option.

Mileage:Odometer is 1,052 since restoration and there are 93 miles on the new engine that had 400 miles on it when installed.

Custome Upgrades:can't cover everything but hope to cover 90% (see pics on most upgrades)

·Paint:custom high gloss black on body and matt black on topper....frame was painted as well as the engine compartment and under hood.

·Engine:ZZ3 383 V8 with less than 500 miles....a beast !!

·Transmission:Automatic with 4x4 and locking hubs

·Steering:power with a new adjustable steering column.

·Breaks:power disc brakes with new brake pads

·Hard Top:the top is removable, but has been secured in place for NO Leaks and a quite ride without the rattle of a soft top

·Wheels:custom Mickey Thompson alloy wheels (the inner and outer rims custom painted black)

·Tires:new Fortera Goodyear radials

·Shocks:new FOX (best on market), including horizontal stabilizer.

·Window:new windshield and tinting on side and rear windows

·Exhaust:new pipes that dump over back axel.....GREAT SOUND!

·Radiator:custom built aluminum with double fans for cooling

·A/C:new and very cold......cools cab in minutes

·Steering:new adjustable steering column with custom steering wheel with Jeep logo

·Horn:new Bad Boy......very loud so you can be heard

·Battery:new XS Power.......strongest battery on the market

·Hood-latch:locking

·Headlights:halogen with LED eyebrows

·Stereo:JVC radio with new speakers in dash, doors, and custom rear console....new antenna

·Rear Window in cab:sliding glass door

·Custom Side Push Out Windows in doors.....NOT IN MOST DOORS....very custom.

·Interior:new door panels, door handles, window cranks, Dynamate sound proofing on floor and back panel behind seat, new carpet, all new gages and knobs on dash....including clock (really), custom Harley Davison seats.

·Seat Belts:3 pt harness belts connected to the roll bar

·Dash:original with NO cracks

·Windshield:new with new wipers and blades.

·Mirrors:new on both doors and backup mirror inside

·Taillights:new LED with bright backup lights and brush guard housings

·Custom Floor Mats....rubber

·Center Console with cup holders

·Bumpers:chrome on front and rear

·Gas Cover and Cap:stainless with lock

·Hitch Receiver

·Hinges:stainless on doors, tailgate, hood latches, etc.
