Description

With a trail-ready look, and the right upgrades to back it up, this 1989 Jeep Wrangler is a 4x4 with style AND substance. You know this Wrangler means business the moment you lay eyes on it. After all, this has a bold red with an instant off-road presence. It starts with a taller stance highlighted by 15-inch Dick Cepek wheels. There are other bright elements that add function, too, like the tubular side steps and the diamond plaiting... protecting the rear corners. But what you really love is the well-coordinated dark side. The upgraded Wrangler hood decals kick off a black package that includes the upgraded fender flares, tubular rear bumper w/hitch, and brush guard front bumper that has fog lights and a Badland 9000 lbs. winch. It also coordinates with the full black soft top package or bikini top. It's the kind of impressive total look that makes even a milk run look like an adventure. As good as this looks with the roof in place, the interior looks awesome, too, thanks to black and gray seat covers. These Wranglers arguably had the best dash layout of any generation. The speedo and tach are directly in front of the driver for proper ergonomics. Then the rest of the gauges spread wide across the center to remind everyone that this was a serious machine. There's even an auxiliary readout trio below this for the best in all the info. More than just functional, this one gets the comfort factor correct with cup holders, tilt steering column, and an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo. Under the hood is what's believed to be the original 4.2-liter motor. It remains looking original and honest, which is a good thing. After all, this inline-six was derived from the tough-as-nails AMC line of motors, and so you get durability and economy. Plus, with the control of the five-speed manual transmission, this is always a lively machine. Add in the power steering and front disc brakes, and this is a Jeep that's easy to drive anywhere. In fact, speaking of go-anywhere, the 4x4 drivetrain with two-speed transfer case and upgraded all-terrain tires with nice tread keeps this Wrangler worthy of the Jeep name. Here's a terrific Jeep that has all the right features. When it's priced this nice, you know this is one hot deal. Call today!!!
