1981 Jeep CJ7 Renegade 258 4 speed 33’’ tires

Vehicle was purchased in Texas and lived its whole prior life there. It’s a factory 81 Renegade with an SR4 4 speed transmission and recently rebuilt 258 6cyl. The brakes front and rear are all brand new. The steering is manual and is tough to steer so it will need to be put back to power steering. (No clue why it’s manual) it could be the box is sloppy. The frame is very solid and the body is too. All the body panels have bumps and bruises and the tub has a little rust but not bad. The windshield needs to be replaced. The transmission shifts like an SR4 and I personally would upgrade to a T5 for example. 33x12.5 MTs that are like new with a matching 5th and new 15x8 black steels. The Jeep runs good but needs work. It’s a good start for a project.
Was originally bought for a high end build and we couldn’t do away with the tub and other parts so we bought more of a project CJ-7 to start with instead. This is not a drive home Jeep but can be driven right on to a trailer. Lights, heat, radio, winch, light bar, etc all work.
Top is older but in decent shape, paint and decals are 100% original. Engine runs great, does not overheat. Aluminum rad and electric fan controlled by toggle. Seats and steering wheel are new.
