1971 Jeep Kaiser CJ6 Scrambler, built in Argentina
Description
This is a 1971 Kaiser Jeep built in Argentina. It was imported into the US back in 2006. I have never seen one of these in the US and they seem to be even rare in Argentina. The polo stickers on the window would indicate that this vehicle came from a family of wealth and means. It is in very good original condition. Let's get down to the details of the actual vehicle.
First of all, this Jeep is 2wd. It has a Ford inline 6 cylinder engine. It has a 3 speed manual transmission. These are all factory parts on this vehicle. It runs and drives well and it drives fine around the neighborhood. It could use minor tinkering before using it on a daily basis on the highway. The carb is a little tweaky from sitting and not getting driven regularly. The Jeep runs a little warm if left to idle for a long period of time. The body is in very good condition. There isn't any rust thru or fiberglass or obvious bondo that I have found on this Jeep. The underside is very dry. There are a few paint bubbles here and there on the body. The interior is in very good condition. It looks all original and the original steering wheel is included. The fiberglass hard top is in great shape and a soft top is also included.
This would be a great Jeep to use as an intown cruiser. Or it would be very cool to update the axles and suspension and turn it into a lwb CJ off road or expedition vehicle. I have lots of pictures and a driving video here..https://beautifulsurf.smugmug.com/1971-Kaiser-Jeep-CJ6-Scrambler/Please don't hesitate to ask any questions. I'm a longtime ebay seller and a straight shooter. This Jeep comes with an open Florida title. I can work with your transporter if you are an out of state or out of country buyer.
