1984 AMC Jeep CJ8 CJ-8 Scrambler Project

Up for bid is a 1984 Jeep CJ-8 Scrambler project. I bought this Jeep last year with the intention of replacing the body and frame during the course of a full restoration. There is extensive rusting on the chassis and body and both have been repaired extensively. This Scrambler would make a great hunting or ranch vehicle as is if one didn't want to do a restoration on it. The 304 AMC V8 was running well when I parked it a few months ago to replace the transmission which had lost reverse gear. The new transmission was bought from O'Rileys and is professionally rebuilt. The transmission installation still needs to be completed (mostly hooking things up) but the transmission is in the Jeep and everything is included to do so. She has a set of four brand new Goodyear Wrangler Authority tires on 15 x 8 factory rims. OEM space saver spare tire with oem fabric tire cover. Many parts are included that I bought for the restoration such as an excellent used oem black dash pad, a nos transfer case shift lever and knob, a nice used set of KC Daylighter fog lights (kit), new rear brakes (everything), a new stainless steel parking brake cable, a good used matching set of shocks, a new set of door mirrors, a new starter solenoid, and a nos headlight wiring harness.
