Description

I am not sure if this Jeep is a factory Renegade or not. According to the previous owner, this Jeep was originally out of AZ and is in unbelievable conditionwith an amazing frame and body. One can still see all the factory spot welds under the paint so it is easy to tell that it has not been filled with synthetic fillers. Super clean and no rust.Paint is in very nice condition with a light scratch here and there. I had the bottom of the front fenders cut and new metal welded in by a professional and painted to match. They were not rusted through but were starting to bubble so I wanted it repaired correctly. This Jeep looks incredible. The interior is in perfect condition with original CJ embossed Limited seats in the front and the rear. It has a new carpet laid over the heat and sound deadening product and a new dash pad. It also has the rare factory cigarette lighter and tilt steering column. I installed a reproduction tachometer to function with the V8 Chevrolet engine in the stock location and I have the original 6 cylinder tachometer that works. I also installed a reproduction clock and I have the original clock as well (not sure why I changed it). There is no cutout in the dash for a radio. The radio is a Pioneer AM/FM/CD that is installed in the Tuffy locking console and it has 2 Sony speakers in the rear. It has a 4" lift kit that is accomplished using springs and there is no body lift or shackle lift installed. The engine is a GM Goodwrench 350ci/260hp with 350ft/lbs. of torque withthe following specs:

4 Bolt Main, internal balance, LT1 powdered metal connecting rods, 8.5:1 aluminum pistons, hydraulic cam .383"/.401" Lift 194/202 Duration @ .050" and 112 degree lobe separation, 76cc cast iron heads 1.940" intake/1.500" exhaust valves, Edelbrock Performer intake manifold with Edelbrock Performer 600cfm carburetor, Jeg's HEI Distributor and Coil. Chrome Moroso valve covers and air cleanerEngine has approximately 7,600 miles on it. It also has Hedman coatedaluminum headers and new dual exhaust.

The Transmission is a custom built by G-Force transmissions in Pennsylvania. It is all custom gears by G-Force in a Tremec 5 Speed case and built to handle over 600hp and over 600 ft/lbs of torque. You can find the specs on their website as that is how I found them. The transmission cost $3,800 alone. It has a high performance clutch and pressure plate and is bolted to the engine with a scattershield.

I only have the new Besttop soft top it as seen in the pictures with the factory hard doors and the bikini top as seen in the pictures. It was a factory hard top Jeep so the quarters were not drilled so I put the nicer soft top with the rails similar to the new style Jeep tops. You can unzip the windows and remove them withthe top up or yo0u can lay the top down just like the new Jeeps. The aluminum rims and tires have less than 3,000 miles on them. I bought the rims from Summit Racing and the tires are 33X12.50X15 General Grabber AT2.

Over all this is an awesome Jeep that is a blast to drive. If you are looking for a super fun summer rig then look no further. I am only selling because I would like to get a 1968-1972 Corvette. I am interested in a trade for one or any other muscle car that is interesting. The Jeep can be viewed anytime and I strongly suggest doing so.
