Jeep CJ5 Crawler trail rig
Description
To start off, this isn't the type of Jeep you cruise to the mall in with your corduroy pants sipping on your Starbucks.. It's a trail rig. It is "street legal" for the most part. I've had it for 20 years now, and have decided to move on. It has been built correctly.
Rebuilt AMC 304
HEI distributor.
Edelbrock performer manifold.
Holly Projection with O2 feedback kit.
Digital air/fuel ratio gauge.
19 gallon RCI fuel cell with braided lines.
Full length headers
Full length dual exhaust with flowmasters.
T18 4 speed with 6.55:1 first
Dana 20 transfer case with Bronco 2.42:1 low range gears.
CV drive shafts with 18" slip front
Wagoneer 44 front sprung over with adjustable traction bar.
Detroit locker, 456's Cromo axles, Super Joints, Internal locking hubs.
Hydro assist steering with cooler.
Wagoneer 20 rear 3 linked with coils using Johnny Joints.
Links are all double walled.
Rear axle truss.
Anti Rock rear sway bar.
Spooled with 456's
Front and rear tube diff guards.
Rancho RS9000 shocks
Steel braided brake lines.
Front and rear D rings.
90 amp alternator.
Custom cut and siped 35x14.5 Super Swamper Thornbirds.
15x10 steel wheels with welded on valve stem guards.
Inner air bead locks.
DOM/HERW roll cage welded to the frame.
Front winch mount for Warn upright 8274 style winch.
Toyota Supra bucket seats.
There are a ton of little things that I've done to it that I won't add to the list. I cleaned it all up and threw on a fresh coat of paint. The only top is a little bikini top that I zip tie on. Starts runs and drives great! Licensed as a collectors vehicle so no more tabs are needed. Clean WA. State title in my name.
