Up for sale is a rare survivor stock original Jeep Cherokee Sport 2 Door. The car has low miles and was bought new in Florida. 118K miles is extremely low for a 28 year old vehicle. The interior is in excellent shape given the year, seats show very little wear. Exterior is solid however the paint is very faded. The truck is original as far as I can tell which is rare to find on an XJ.
This car is being sold as a running project car, I would not recommend driving it long distance as the tires are old and dry rotted. When I bought the car is was not running and I had plans of restoring it but I have too many projects and not enough time. I did get the truck running and replaced the fuel injectors, fuel pump basic tune up. It runs well and shifts well but I only drove it a limited amount due to the old tires. I would recommend that the car is trailered to its final destination.
IMPERFECTIONS:- Tires are dry rotted and separating, they hold air but should not be driven on long distance- Paint is faded- Turn signals don't work may need relay- Speedometer doesn't work may need vehicle speed sensor- Don't know if AC works, the blower isn't pushing air- This truck needs to be gone through before it is a daily driver due to its age.
