1983 Jeep CJ7, hardtop, hard doors, in fantastic rare to find condition. This Jeep started life in California and was owned by a family member. The Jeep was then bought by a other family member, grandpa, and Jeep re-titled in Arizona back in 1992, where it was well taken care of and well loved. Garaged at summer home! This Jeep is an excellent example of a true classic CJ , with nice paint, great interior, solid running gear, and a very clean underside. Jeep is rust free and uncut and un-molested 33 years later. This Jeep has no problem cruising around town, or down the highway at 70 plus miles per hour all day long if required of it. SEE VIDEO. Starting on the outside, this Jeep has very glossy white paint over clean and original rust free sheet metal. The Jeep started life with Olympic White paint, and was re-painted less than 5 years ago same color. The paint is in very nice condition, and any small imperfections have been touched up in the matching white. The doors are very nice, very straight, and the inserts have been painted to match the hardtop. The glossy black texture on the roof is Raptor liner, a two part spray epoxy designed for long use an durability. This is not a rattle can undercoat, this is a professional grade epoxy. The white and black colors make for a clean, respectable looking jeep that everyone loves. The body panels on this truck are very straight and solid. There no rust in this Jeep! The hardtop and hard doors allow you to stay warm and dry in the bad weather and the hard top will carry a carry snow load, and secure anything valuable. The combination of hardtop coated in Raptor, and hard doors make for a very quiet driving truck. Spare tire carrier in the rear, and power winch in the front ensure the Jeep is ready for anything you can throw at it. A mild 2 1/2 inch spring lift give the truck a great stance and nicer ride than stock. Jeep fitted with 31 inch tall by 10 inch wide Goodyear tires mounted on blacked out 15 inch Jeep steel wheels. These are very aggressive, very durable tires, that still ride very nice, and give good grip on and off the pavement. The underside of the Jeep is just as nice. The clean, rust free body and frame have been detailed and finished in a SEM water proof finish for sound deadening and underside metal protection from the harsh winter elements (Salt and snow) The body tub, floor pans, firewall, hood, tailgate are all straight and in great condition SEE VIDEO. This is one of the cleanest undersides and frames you will EVER find on a Jeep. The interior is just as nice as the exterior. The interior was stripped, and finished in tint-able Raptor, that was tinted white to match the exterior paint color. That’s another layer of protection, sound deadening also added to the inside that you won’t find in many other Jeeps. SEE VIDEO. The carpet and padding were installed to give the Jeep a clean and classy look, and make for a quieter ride. Very comfortable front buckets with multi-pocket utility covers, and a flip and tumble rear set add to the comfort and finish of this truck. A locking center console lets you secure items, and provides cup holders for front and rear passengers. Tilt steering and an adjustable seat let anyone drive this Jeep comfortably and easily. Dash lights, wipers, wiper sprayers, turn signal indicators, high beam indicator, fan/heater all work like they should! Doors and top lock with the key! SEE VIDEO. Under the hood is the proven, bullet proof 4.2 liter Jeep inline 6 . The 4.2 Jeep motor put’s out 210 foot lb of torque at just 2000 rpm making them a mountain goat when in 4 wheel drive 'low range' off road. Less than 4000 proven driven reliable miles on the new complete rebuilt motor, SEE VIDEO . Motor starts and runs better today than the day it was sold new. There is no lack of power or performance in this Jeep. This is the perfect running gear combination with the 4.2 low end torque range motor when backed with a 5 speed manual transmission. You can go on off road adventures as needed . Then you can get back on the pavement and drive the highway and even fast moving Interstate at higher speed’s to continue your Jeep adventure. The clutch and transmission in this truck are SOLID. No loose shifting here, this is a tight, fresh 5 speed transmission - 5th gear is overdrive! All running gear in this Jeep is very quiet.
