Lancia Fulvia 1600HF S2
Lancia Fulvia 1600HF S2 Produced in 06/ 1970 the car was purchased in Palermo the 3rd of April 1971 with plate PA301731. After it was owned by 5 different persons then sold to me in Los Angeles California June 26 2015. I was advised that no one race the car in any professional events, but the car was well kept and restored few years ago. This particular car VIN # 818-740-001317 is an early version of 1600HF after the famous fanalone was produce so it has few similarities. Some people call it Fanalino Corsa, Other just 1600HF, and f Lusso Body 1600HF . The engine was rebuilt by a well-known local Bugatti specialist in Italy. Then work was done by Mr. Facetti who installs cams and tune the engine with HOT cams which are now in a box as part of the car. The stock cams were re-installed to have it street version again. I cannot tell you if is a real corsa, but for sure is not 100% (Lusso Body) because of some specific parts like the front fenders without the hole for bumper support. Usually the corsa was fitted with rear Plexiglas glass (not all), with the rear axle from Fulvia s1 with aluminum hub support (not all) front and rear glass without chromed insert moldings (like this one). The seats are just like Fanalone No head rest, (like this one) there are many features that resemble an early 1600HF Corsa in this car. Unfortunately there isn't any documentation that describes the specific version neither a list of chassis number. The car drives and feels super nice, lots of power, 5 speeds. 2 steering wheels to choose from, it come with big FOG lamps with brackets. The car is currently with California tittle. There are no visible damages, except small wear and tear as the car was used frequently. There are not many Lancia Fulvia 1600HF S2 in America and perhaps none Corsa version or close to Corsa version like this one presented. The ones I personally know are 1600HF Lusso Body seats and interior are very different this one. This car is in a drive condition no mechanical repairs require. More info info@lalancia.com
What I can tell you is a very nice driver, perfect to use in events and daily driver as well. The roll cage was install in the mid 70’s so is period correct, but for current competition it needs to be replace, I personally like it because it does not get in your way and no damage has being done in the way that was install.
