1993 Range Rover County SWB (southern truck), MPI 350 Chevy and 5 speed manual
Description
SUPER solid and clean RRC - has 100% new wire harness front to rear, Chevy 350 Multi port motor from a 1999 Tahoe and a low mile quiet smooth r380 coupled to lt230. Tom wood shafts, ARB front and rear. HD shafts, RTE front lift arms, rear arms, new bushings etc. LOTS OF PARTS.
Has original Chevy computer remapped for the injectors, rockers, cam etc by Black Bear Performance (description of setup below). Custom dual core alloy radiator, electric fan on variable controller and dual battery set up. Hella headlights on HD relay, shine bright but don't glare oncoming cars. No abs but retained the pump and master set up - brakes are EXCELLENT.
Truck runs and drives 100%. 330hp of smooth Chevy power. It's a blast to play with and gets darn good milage on the highway.
ARB rack, winch bumper, RTE tank skid, QT diff guards, RTE steering links, Bilstien shocks, drop shock HD mounts front and rear, RTE springs... More.
255-85-16 Maxis mud terrains with new tread. Newer brakes, stainless NRP exhaust, low miles on all of it.
Interior was GUTTED for the dash welding as well as ALL new ventilating base material and sound deadening instead of the water hogging stock stuff. The truck is better than new in so many ways.
2004 disco dash assembly interior - yes really. Not a hack job. Full working heater with disco 1 style manual dual zone controls. No AC - but it's there, just need motor mounted parts (which I have. You just need to fabricate a mount).
The 93 RRC had no air bags so no it still does not. The air bags are simply sitting there but not hooked up at all.
All new bushings all over the truck. Brand new heated windscreen (needs relay).
Added and ODBii for ease of maintenance.
New fuel pump, ignition module, distributor, oe maf meter, TPS, fuel pump EFI.
2 Brand new Marine deep cycle Delco Batteries.
30,000k lumens of light installed in the roof rack. Under seat 1000w power inverter.
Needs winch (I'm keeping mine). :-)
Needs some minor details but I drive it daily and it's FUN! Only been in the North East since 2012. Good solid southern truck.
Minor details:
ARB need to be hooked to a compressor. The pumpkins are in but the hookup needs to be done.
Back gate latch needs to be replaced. I have the part I just haven't gotten around to it.
AC needs to be installed
No speedometer.
No gas gauge
Heated seats need to be hooked up
Parts:
Lots and lots of parts.
D2 style Door seals if someone wanted.
Extra (original RRC) rear seats and oem floor mats.
All AC parts condenser etc if wanted. (All under dash parts are there)
Extra trail spares like front signal lights, tail lights, side mirrors, fenders, bumpers etc.
Computer Mapping (from Black Bear):
Updated to new MPI spider injectors.
1.6 full roller rockers. (Stock cam)
Throttle body plate restrictor removed and mildly smoothed internals.
roller timing chain
egr delete
evap delete
no cat converters, OE style fit ""shorter"" headers to 2.5 downpipes, smooth y pipe and full 2.5 single exhaust with free flow muffler from y back.
No mechanical engine fan mounted
Manual trans
No downstream o2 sensors
No VATS
87-89 Octane
Speed Limiter: Remove
Wiring Harness:
Aftermarket harness - simple to trace wires in the future as they are printed/labeled every 6"
Connectors were marine grade adhesive lined heat shrink
I have photos of the mapping
Can talk on phone or email/PM in more detail.
I have about $30k in it.... So I'll start the bidding at $22,500k.
I'm reasonable but it's a SOLID rust free low mile RRC with what I feel is damn near perfect mods to be reliable, powerful, fun, smooth and an awesome daily driver or trail beast!
