Land Rover Series III 3 Defender 90 1972 Convertible / Hard Top
Description
I'm sure if you are looking at this vehicle, that you have a pretty good idea why you are looking. I'm not going to go into the details of how great these cars are.
I brought this car over from California. Because it is a CA car, the body and chassis are completely dry with absolutely no rust. I have a clear CA title in hand.
For sale is a 1972 Series III that was made to look a bit like a Defender. The only things that were really changed were the hood, grill and wheels (from 1994 Defender 90), roll cage inside and lights above the windshield. Otherwise it is all original.
The car has had mechanical work done on it over the past years. Everything was changed to make it a better running car, including brand new shocks, $2000 brake job that included brand new shoes, master cylinder, slave cylinder and other parts required, clutch and a lot more work. On June 2, 2017, I had some wiring fixed and other small things looked at. I received a PrePurchase Inspection (PPI) from Overlander (a reputable Land Rover shop in Boston that only works on Land Rovers) and they checked out the car inside and out and stated that it needs about $400 of work (choke cable and few other small hoses).
The metal top comes off and it becomes a convertible and you can put a soft top on top of the roll cage that is already installed. Looks stunning without the top.
Come by and give it a test drive.
