Beautiful example of a classic V8 Land Rover Defender 90. This low mileage vehicle is in excellent condition. Originally built for the Dutch market it is LH drive as standard, manual 5 speed, 4WD 6 seater.

Speedo is in KM, with 113KM from new (70k miles). Cruises at 65mph and the straight through exhaust sounds great.

This started its life as a twin carb but was professionally converted by Highgate Motors, Land Rover Specialists of Barrington IL. to direct injection, to ensure great cold weather starting and improved power and fuel consumption. Other than the conversion to injection it is completely standard and original. Starts, runs, shifts and sounds great. Needs nothing, all work needed has been done professionally. References available.

Chassis is waxoiled and shows no sign of any corrosion. Brakes are all good and it has 5 brand new Toyo Open Country M/T tires.

Recently replaced fuel tank, drive shafts and ball joints.

Soft top is in good condition with new high polish, crystal clear windows. Comes with optional bikini top and removable cab screen (improved heating in winter)

Heater runs hot in winter, in summer you open the flaps and roll up the sides, see pics. Immobilizer fitted, inline radiator hose heater installed, new optimax red top, with heater and integrated charger installed, all run through to 110v for winter readiness. Heater intake has ice snorkel.

This is a real head turner, one of the best examples of this English classic you will ever see.
