Description
A very RARE and very beautiful and clean LHD 1971 late series IIA late model bug eye Land Rover Defender style 88" wagon 4 Cylinder Diesel with overdrive. Not very many left in this shape and condition. This is a left hand drive version which are getting really hard to come by these days and especially the diesel version with overdrive and safari top.The Vehicle runs perfectly and the engine is solid no leaks or burning oil.Hard top and glass all in good shape. All the seals and window gaskets are new. Very very minimal rust spots that have been treated and painted only small small areas of rust and around bolts that got rusted, but bolts rusting is typical, which again you don't see very often.Has new carpet and removable seats with locker bays down below the cushions built into the Rover itself A very neat feature of the series. This is a 4x4 in low range and high range.4x4 works perfectly and can climb up most anything you have desire too climb. This isn't a show room rover, but this is a very very clean one and drives especially well Its a very beautiful Series and will look great in anyones collection or garage.4 speed transmission.Has a clean Tennessee title .The doors, glass and top are very easy to remove and in amazing shape. This is a real head turner that's for sure!!!!!!!!It has been repainted from its original color to Land Rover green from desert tan.Only thing this rover needs is the(wires re-done)lights need to be re-ran back to the switch which means I have only one brake light hooked up and one turn signal.Still has the original wire harness just no lights currently except the ones specified an easy fix.I will provide cold start video in interested upon request as well as any appointment to come and view the vehicle or any mechanic of your choice to come here to inspect the Rover for your piece of mind.Shipping of this vehicle is not includedMost of the time it comes to your Home. If you live in a hard to reach area for a 18 wheeler he will ask to meet close by. I have described this vehicle to the best of my knowledge. There are a few little scratches and dings here and there from normal driving and plant scratches. If you have any other further question please feel free to contact me.Thank you and HAPPY BIDDING.
