Description

Shorland Armored Patrol Car. Built on a Land Rover 1 ton chassis. All running gear (engine, drive train, axles, etc. is stock Land Rover stuff). I have owned for over 4 years and had a lot of fun with it. My kids love it and we take it to all the local parades. Everything is functional concerning driving the vehicle.Gun turret rotates as it should, including .30 Cal mount for an FN, can be converted pretty easily to a 1919 Browning. All the interior lining was sagging when I got it so I stripped it out but saved everything for patterns if wanted. Many folks just clean and paint the interior metal shell. These sell for $20k to $30k when and if you can find them in restored or driving condition. Mine is mechanically solid and includes about $4k worth of new OEM Land Rover spare parts. Is titled (clean/clear)and registered here in Utah with no problems. Insurance is cheap too! Search Shorland Armoured Car on the web and you will see everything about these cool British military vehicles, way better than a Ferret and Saracen 6x6! (Iv'e had both). Much more user friendly. Runs and drives as it should but remember, this is a military vehicle and speed and handling were not part of the design criteria... I have full manuals and documentation to go with it too. Also have full ballistics study which shows just how tough it is for armoring. Will stop all hand gun rounds and most standard rifle stuff. Get your Prepper on!!!! Is located in SLC Utah and can be shown and driven anytime. Always stored indoors. Feel free to ask any questions. Payment in person at pick-up only or pre-paid with cleared funds before it leaves my garage. Thanks, Rob
