Overview:
Here is a very rare 1984 Land Rover Defender 110 RHD 3.5L gas V8 4x4 in good running and driving condition. We acquired this Defender 110 in a package of cars we purchased. It is good running and driving truck that just needs some TLC. From what we were told it was used as a touring vehicle in Florida for several years. They took people on tours through the everglades I'm guessing. It can be used as it sits to drive, off road and have fun with, without any worries of scratching it. Or it could be fixed up and restored into a $100K plus Defender. It is all there and is overall pretty solid. There is some rust in the bottom of the doors and by the sill plates but the floors and frame are solid. We have driven it around town a little bit with no issues. The previous owners spent over $6,900 on it in 2014 going through it mechanically and we have receipts. I was told it has 34K original miles on it and it has a box 'A" title but I am not going to guarantee that. We are selling it at NO Reserve to the highest bidder!!
Condition Rating:
Category 4: 60-69 points
"GOOD - Major components function properly, and the vehicle is completely safe to drive but may need minor repairs to mechanical systems. No parts are missing, but this car has been driven on a regular basis and may need a paint job and a few trim pieces rechromed or replaced. Amateur restorations usually fall into this category, as do very old professional restorations that have deteriorated due to use and exposure to the elements. "

Exterior:
This Defender is in decent shape to drive and enjoy the way it sits. It is an original red truck but does have a black vinyl wrap, which can be taken off if desired. The body has some dings and dents around it. There are some bubbles here and there. For the most part is it pretty solid. The doors have some rust on the bottom and there is some rust by the sill plates when you open the doors. The bulkhead looks to be very solid with just some minor bubbles around the windshield frame. The underside and the frame are dirty but very solid. On the rear of the frame it looks like someone welded a trailer hitch or something to it at one time and cut it off. I'm not sure. The left side of the front bumper has a slight bend to it. All the glass is very good and the rubbers are showing there age. We have several pictures in the ad so you can see everything and a video.
Interior:
The interior is overall pretty nice and clean. All the door panels do have some damage. The dash and gauge cluster is complete and looks like it was taken apart and put back together a few times. Most everything seams to work in it like the lights and gauges. We are selling it as is. It does have fairly new tires on it.
Mechanically:
It does run very smooth and quite and drives very nicely. It has the 3.5L gas V8 engine with a propane conversion so you can run on either or. The propane part I cannot figure out how to work it so I am saying it does not work currently. The previous owner spent over $6,900 at a shop in 2014 on everything mechanical. The receipts are in the bottom of the ad and you see all that was done to it. The gas cap is missing and it does come with a shop manual.
