Here is a great opportunity to purchase and enjoy an early Land Rover model 88in true barn find condition. Owned for many years by the master Rover mechanic son of Vermont's earliest Saab, Rover, Triumph, and Volvo dealership, always maintained and serviced by himself. Dry stored in a climate controlled garage the past thirteen years it is now available for sale. Just serviced and inspected mechanically. Runs and drives well. 4WD operates correctly in low and high range, all gauges, lights, instruments etc, are fully operational. Clutch and brakes seem fine, no chatter, slip, smooth and solid. No rust chassis and door posts which if you know Rovers are extremely rare. Seat covers are a bit tatty but easily replaced. Alloy top and door frames and windows are included. Missing the upper side of tailgate but I will keep searching. All in all a very nice original, solid, great running 88. The body being alloy is of course rust free but does need a bit of attention. There are small dents all around. Nothing major but they are there. Poor touchup paintwork is also present. My initial thought was to straighten and repaint the body but I have been convinced the new owner would appreciate the vehicle the way it is presently presented, nothing hidden, absolutely as found. It certainly could be used the way it is now or if the new owner wishes to repaint and trim they have a fine basis to complete an easy restoration.
Offered at no reserve, seriously for sale. Email any questions, all will be answered promptly and honestly. Check my feedback, I am not a dealer just an enthusiast who enjoys interesting motorcars.
