1993 Defender 110 - South Africa built on galvanized frame with AC!
Description
Correct VIN is SALLDHMV7KF806657. eBay doesn't recognize import vehicle VINs.
Available here is a very rare, very original Defender 110 County Hi-Line. These trucks were licensed by Land Rover to be built by Leyland S.A. and Associated Automotive Distributors. The builds were upgraded by being built on galvanized frames, galvanized bulkheads and factory air conditioning.
This truck is exactly that. This is an all original 110 recently imported from South Africa. Truck is very nice and a true gem. The galvanized frame is spotless as is the outriggers and cross member. Doors are near flawless and solid all around. Foot wells are solid and interior is very clean. I had the interior seating and headliner professional cleaned to restore them to the original look.
Dash is clean and tight. All gauges and lights, signals and the rest work as they should. Truck starts immediately on the first turn and settles into a nice idle. Truck shifts thru all the gears with ease and you can do highway speeds without issue. The V8 has been refreshed with new fluids, plugs and filters. It's very responsive and accelerates nicely. Motor provides much more power and usability than the order diesels out there.
Exterior paint is original and looks great for being 25 years old. Some minor blemishes here and there but nothing major or that requires attention. Galvanized roof rack and rear ladder really complete the look for the truck.
This truck is turn key and ready to drive away. This truck is very solid and is a rare unit where no one has actual production numbers. This would be a great truck for a first time Rover owner or enthusiast alike. Any additional questions, please let me know. Thanks!
