Description

I'm selling my British Army 1977 Land Rover 101 forward

control. This truck is in almost factory mint condition with only 5723 miles on the original engine. It's full time four wheel drive with high and low gear ranges. It has a power take off (PTO) wench that pulls forward and aft through the vehicle. I have all the original tools, jacks and that came with the truck. Also user and repair manuals.

The truck runs perfect! Mechanically the truck is in superb condition and has been well maintained. All the prop shafts have been regularly greased. Transmission oil differential oil and transfer case oil have all been replaced. Radiator has been flushed and has new coolant. Ball joints and tie rod ends are new. The hub bearings, seals and gaskets are new. It has a new clutch master cylinder, rebuilt brake master cylinder. New rubber brake line, brake cylinders and brake reservoirs. New brake shuttle relay. The brake booster is only thing in the hydraulic system that needs a little work. I have also replaced the oil coolant hoses, starter, fan belt, spark plugs, points and condenser. The porthole axles are in excellent condition they do not have any pitting or corrosion. Like I said she is in perfect mechanical condition.

The body and cassis are in great shape no rust. The truck still wears its factory Bronze Green paint that is in very good condition. The interior paint has a few scratches here and there but overall in good condition. The undercarriage has a heavy factory undercoating that is in good condition. The original interior upholstery is perfect no tears or pulled stitching. The canvas top is in good shape. The tires hold air and are drivable but could be replaced.

I am selling this truck as is, it does not have a title so it will be sold with bill of sale. I also have the MCO or (manufacture certificate of origin) Buyer will be responsible for local pick up if you live far away. I currently have a temporary operating permit and insurance for the truck so I will be able to drive the truck a reasonable distance for people who live within a few hours of me. The truck is listed for $25,000. Reasonable offers or trades will be considered. Please send email to boothlin@live.com or call Josh at 619-694-9440. I can't always answer the phone right away but if you leave a message with your contact info I will be sure to get back to you.
