1993 Land Rover Range Rover LWB Green
Description
Welcome to the ultimate in 90's British motoring luxury! Seriously though, we've got a '93 Range Rover here with less than 100,000 miles. Let me preface this by saying this is a project. A running/driving Rover, but a project. You'll want to go through all the systems before putting it on the road. I've run it around the property a little, moving trailers/cars around, but haven't put many miles on it.
South Carolina car recently brought to Ohio. Yes it still has rust, but not that nasty Ohio rust. There were some patches done in the back and in the driver's floor area. Frame is really solid as is pretty much the rest of it. Paint is original and starting to fade on the hood and the roof. It has a few bumps and scrapes, but is still very presentable. Windshield is cracked.
Interior is tan leather and in decent shape. Wood trim has seen better days as has the dash pad. Door locks work as do the all power windows. All the doors open and close nice!
Factory air suspension has been converted to coils. All the other original suspension parts appear to be present. Tires have good tread but are old. All five original matching rims are present.
4.2 V8 appears to be in good running order, good power. Trans shifts well, nice and smooth. The ABS pump was replaced recently and the brakes are very nice and solid/firm. In typical Rover fashion, most of the dash lights are on. I verified all the ones that scared be like the coolant and oil. It's definitely got coolant and oil is at level and shows good pressure on a mechanical gauge. All the mechanical gauges on the dash work fine, speedometer, fuel, coolant temp, etc... Battery is just over a year old.
Comes with a few extra parts, like the stereo components that are normally in the rear luggage area. There's also a spare transfer case and some additional interior odds and ends.
I have more pictures that I can send and am willing to take pictures of anything you want. Please rely on the pictures to show condition. I'm not a Rover guy, and personally did very little work on it. This is my first one and I'm no expert, so please ask all the questions you want, because I'm not sure what to look for. Don't want any unhappy buyers, so please if you're planning on picking this up in person, come take a look at it first. If it will need to be shipped I'm more than happy to work with your shipper, but please expect it to be worse than you figured. I don't want to let anyone down here. Sometimes buying sight unseen can be a real bust. Rover is located in Litchfield, Ohio 44253
Clean clear Ohio title in my name. Will be filled out and notarized ready for the new owner to transfer. Can also provide notarized Bill of Sale if requested.
This would be a great Winter project or a real nice base to an off-road build. Solid start to a build anyhow.
Like I said, any questions just let me know!
