Land Rover 109 NADA 1967 Left Hand Drive
Description
1967 109 Land Rover NADA (produced for export to North America). Left Hand Drive. 7,765 miles, original, in the words of a master Mercedes mechanic. Odometer does work and it does not appear that it is has rolled over to 107,765 miles. If the mileage is correct, then it could be one of the lowest for a Land Rover 109 NADA. I have been told by a Land Rover expert that the condition of a Land Rover 109 is generally determined by the condition of the firewall. This firewall is solid as you can see!! The body has a slight imperfection on the driver's front door, and the front seats have been replaced for maximum comfort -although the original seats are included in this sale. This Land Rover 109 runs and drives and will stop (breaks could be bled). This vehicle is beyond cool just as it sits. It would need a restoration and paint if you want the Barret Jackson vehicle. I have owned this vehicle for over a decade. My research is that it was sold new in 1967 in New York state and then sold to a farm in Minnesota. Come take a look at it and take it for a drive if your in the area! Fountain City Wisc. 54629. A few years back a gentleman looked at this vehicle and said that he would trade his wife for it. Never did meet his wife though. This vehicle is not perfect but nonetheless it is a real classic. It may be the perfect vehicle for you -- it is gnarly and beautiful,. This is the Land Rover that is in almost every Safari movie ever made! My research is that there were approximately 800 Land Rover NADA 109s imported and that this is # 627.
