Description

1986 Land Rover 110 Pickup truck, AKA Defender 110.

I imported this truck direct from the original owner in England. He used it for his repair shop and sold it due to his age.Originally I had planned on a full restore on it, but the authentic patina of it is just too good to paint over so I left it.It came with the 2.5 naturally aspirated diesel, but that engine was just way too underpowered for normal driving so I swapped it out with a fresh 200tdi diesel with approximately 70% more power. To be honest, it still could use more power, but the factory Land Rover diesel does have it’s appeal. 173k miles on truck, much less on current drivetrain. New tires and battery were installed this past month, and I’ve done quite a few repairs and maintenance items to it since I’ve had it.(I have a detailed list).I was using this as my daily driver and enjoyed every minute of it, but my priorities have changed and it’s time to let somebody else experience the one ten.

Engine starts right up, pulls good, and gets decent mpg.

Tires are new Dick Cepek 32” mud tires.

All new brakes (drums, shoes, wheel cylinders, pads, rotors).

“Newer” 200tdi engine, LT77 transmission, and 1.4 LT230 transfer case.

New seats.

New rear axle seals.

New battery.

New headlights and relay wiring.

New clutch slave cylinder.

New exhaust from the turbo back.

Land Rover alloy wheels.

Fresh service on all fluids (oil, fuel filter, air filter, all three differentials, transmission, brake, clutch).

2 sets of doors.Full doors for with the top on and new half doors for when you take the top off.

The bad: Rust.

Make no mistake, you can drive the truck as it sits for years to come... but if you're looking for a rust free example, this isn't it. The bulkhead is rotten and beyond repair, the door frames of the full doors are rusted out, the rear crossmember has seen better days, and the frame could use a patch.

Message me for more pictures and I can text them to you.
Thanks for looking.
