1983/2006 ROW Defender 3,200 Miles
Description
I am a serious Land Rover collector and off-roader, this vehicle is one of two Defenders I had built inthe UK using 2006 ROW Defenders as parts vehicles. The ROW's were a special run of 300TDi non-electronic engined with TD5 bodies for the Military. Land Rover had surplus inventory which was sold off. Because they had the 300TDi engines they could not be sold in the EU and North America so many were bought and parted out. Many people consider this version to be the ultimate Defender.
https://www.landroverexpedition.com/articles/110-sw-300tdi-row-lhd/I have owned this Defender for a decade and it has been stored in a climate controlled garage and driven annually to keep it operational and for my enjoyment. My other ROW has over 170,000 km's on it and keeps going strong so I have finally decided Ino longer require a "spare".
For you Americans interested it will not pass your current import requirements as the vehicle serial number which is from 1983 does not match up with a 300TDi engine. I cannot advise you on what to do about that but perhaps it would make a valuable parts vehicle to rebuild a Defender already imported into the US. This Land Rover has just over 3,200 miles on itfrom NEW notfrom when itwas rebuiltand the interior still smells like new.
VIN Number is:
