This 1965 Land Rover Series IIA 88 has been restored to preserve the classic essence of the vehicle while advancing its performance and enhancing its comfort. Meticulously restored by Mark Greeley and his crew at Newport Shelby in Costa Mesa, California prior to current owner’s purchase, current owner has maintained her pristine interior and exterior condition since purchasing it in 2015. The car is in mint condition, and completely rust-free, as you can see in its photos.
a Chevy v8 engine, 350 horsepower crate motor and a four-speed manual transmission, the odometer reads 80,556 miles. The brakes, suspension and steering systems have all been updated with modern Land Rover components, in addition to a modern high performing drivetrain and all new wiring. The vehicle’s interior has been luxuriously updated with sleek, custom, black, vinyl upholstery, black wool carpets and a state-of-the-art sound system with a custom iPod/CD stereo, custom speakers and rear mounted amplifier.
