This is a 1986 British Army Surplus Land Rover Defender in very good shape. It has extremely low original miles, just 51,000 (82,000km). Best of all, it is a very rare LEFT HAND DRIVE. It served in the UK Army from 1986 to 2011. It was completely rebuilt in 2008, with numerous improvements including a rebuilt engine, full roll cage, soundproofing, new paint, new "Wolf" wheels, and front disc brakes. Recent improvements (All work done at the best LR shop in Los Angeles - British Car Service, all receipts available - over $7,000) include a new fuel pump, brake booster, starter, front wheel bearings, overhaul of the transmission and transfer case - all gaskets are new - NO LEAKS!, NEW diamond plate on the hood & wings, NEW flip down rear seats (it seats 10 passengers), NEW soft top (made in France), high security "Tuffy" box center console with secure radio storage, new door and hood hardware, a NEW high quality Warn winch, NEW front bumper, new exterior lighting, matching NEW Goodyear military tires (made in South Africa) and much more.
