Description

1989 Land Rover Ninety (Defender 90), 2nd owner since 2005 at around 40000miles, has 79800miles now.
An original Left Hand Drive (LHD) vehicle, powered by it's original 2.5 Turbo Diesel engine and 5 speed manual LT77 gearbox.
Upgraded to powersteering in 2007. And repainted in Epsom Metallic Green (British Racing Green) in 2005 when i bought it from the first owner.
It has a very rare fiberglass hardtop from the 1997 Eastnor Edition (similar to 1994 NAS version but without the holes in the roofpanel for external rolecage), which makes this a hard top convertible. Not to be confused with a regular hard top, which has the safetybelts mounted on the hardtop and has a full size tailgate.
This Land Rover has safetybelts mounted on special brackets and a 2-part tailgate, making it road legal even with the hard top removed.

The bulkhead is in very good condition. The paint at the front end is still very nice, but from the doors to the back it could use a new paintjob
Front doorbottoms have rustholes at the underside, only visible when looking from directly under (see pictures), so could eventualy benefit from a pair of new doors, or have them welded.
It's a 30 year old Land Rover, so obviously not gonna be like new, it's rare to find a solid original 2.5 turbo diesel that wasn't swapped to a 200tdi or 300tdi, so i always take it easy to keep it that way.
