Exported by us from the UK in November 2018 into Austin Texas. The 200 TDI engine is the sought-after Defender unit and is matched with a 5 speed LT77 gearbox. Good turbo response providing plenty of power.

Serviced prior to export this car was the previous English owners ‘daily driver’ and held a UK Ministry of Transport certificate (see below) prior to export. Mechanically, a credit to its former keeper.

As it was in daily use cosmetically it couldn’t be regarded as 100% however it looks very smart in its fresh British paintwork with contrasting green and white.

Whilst having a current UK MOT it is recommended that the tyres are replaced, our mechanic in Texas also informs us that there is a noise from the steering on full right-hand lock (possibly a slipping belt as a result of relocating to dry heat of Texas). it is structurally solid a good mechanically sound usable vehicle. She starts, runs, drives and stops as it should with no issues. 199XXX miles. This should not be of concern as regular servicing is the key to longevity with these units. This is a very classic looking Defender with a very original appearance
