Description

For Sale is this recently imported 1987 Land Rover 109 LHD Series III.This Land Rover has a clear SC Title.

This 1987 Land Rover 109 LHD Series III was manufactured in Southern Spain by Santana Motors under a license agreement with Land Rover. Our Land Rover spent its whole life in Southern Spain This is a completely rust free Land Rover and was hand restored, painted and customized in Spain two years ago.

This truck was made as a limited edition.Drivetrain consist ofa LT85 5-speed manual transmission, 3,500cc naturally aspirated 6 cylinder bullet proof diesel engine with 100 HP, 2 fuel tanks that will hold 22 Gal a piece. This Land Rover even has modern luxuries such as power steering, power brakes and disc brakes in the front.

The interior has been upgraded with 2 tone, black and dark grey leather sport seats in first and second row, aluminum “checker plates” floor panels all around, new Land Rover rubber mats, new gauges, new door gaskets, center console with Radio, USB- and 12 volt charger.

The outside is upgraded with 305 / 45 R22 tires and custom wheels. Many upgrades are from a later model Defender. Complete doors are from a 2006 Land Rover, LED Headlamps, front grill, headlights bezels and mask are from an original Defender, front bumper with position lights, front stone guard, rear lights are from original Defender, brand new spare tire in 16” with new wheel cover, tow ball, side steps are original Land Rover.

This truck is a beacon of class that is hard to come by in modern 4x4 vehicles. The Land Rover and Santana relationship is often overlooked.Santana was on the fore front of Land Rover development. Because of the tight financial position during the early period ofBritish Leyland (which owned Land Rover), Santana were often better placed than Land Rover which alowed Santana to find failure points early on.Because of this Santana began to engineer its own solutions to common problems into the models it produced and thus arose a degree of originality and reliability in Santana's models compared to Land Rover's original products.
