Description

A stunning, beautifully restored and unique Land Rover Defender 110. Very rare original V8 petrol, LHD, matching numbers with just under 63,000 miles.
I have owned this truck for 3+ years. It was restored for me in the UK by the renowned Land Rover specialists, Defenders Direct and is the second 110 I've had them restore over the years. The truck was sourced in Southern Italy, transported to the UK where it underwent a full strip down to the chassis. New doors/panels, reconditioned engine and running gear, new brakes, new suspension, sound proofing, basic interior and repaint are part of their standard package. I upgraded and customised the paint, interior, added a 3rd row of seats (seats 7), full leather dash, alcantara headliner and trim, heated seats, LED lights, new air-conditioning compressor, stainless steel exhaust system, new wheels, tires and custom roll cage.
Following a 9 month restoration the truck was shipped to me here in the US, registered, taxed and titled. It has a full, clean Ohio title.
This is a unique vehicle. Only a small number of Defender 110's were produced with V8's and even fewer had air-conditioning. The low mileage meant the engine and transmission were in great working order pre-restoration, never the less they were thoroughly gone-through with all ancillary elements renewed. New suspension, brakes, wheels and tires means the truck runs smoothly and will comfortably do 75+ mph.
On my previous Defender I fitted a double-din, Apple Play, stereo/GPS system with rear camera. I have not done so on this one but can guide the new owner on where/how to do it. Very simple and useful.
This Defender is in excellent overall condition. There is a very small scratch (5mm) on the passenger side rear upper panel, otherwise the paint is in as-new condition. The air-conditioning is British designed so I won't attempt to claim it'll keep your ice cream from melting...
