1990 Land Rover Range Rover 4DR (LWB) Classic - RARE OPPORTUNITY FOR RESTORATION
Description
This was a working 1990 (30 years old) Land Rover Range Rover Long Wheel Base (LWB) - classic body Green color, with matching Green wheel color. Leather seats, power seats and power windows (may need seat switch replacement). Still newish tires on the car then (been long sitting in garage perhaps for more than 10 years). Newish Muffler too (replaced then - see photos). It is a two-owner car. IT IS PRIME AND IDEAL FOR RESTORATION. RARE OPPORTUNITY. ONLY SERIOUS BUYER PLEASE. SALE IS AS IS!
Except for the back lift-gate (typical of LRRR then) that is rusted and needs the entire top lift-gate replacing (you can find at British Atlantic or buy used one), Rebuilding this car as an iconic should be fun to the LR enthusiast/s. It has been sitting in the garage for at least over 10 years, and thus not starting now [so mainly mechanical work to be done - sitting gasoline, sitting engine oil and all other oils]. It was working then, may now need mechanical work to get it started - for sitting in the garage for long. Perhaps need fuel-pump to be changed also, etc!
The body is in decent condition, underbody oxygenation rusts are perhaps on the surface (see door and floor photos - seems fine). Other interior items need refurbishing, may include the AC etc. Remove and throw away the rusted side step bar - don't need it for a classic anyway.
I have some original parts (I used to use for maintenance) imported from England then and perhaps also from Atlantic British, they will all be included (See Photos - too many to list), including Ferodo Pads, Break Rotors (may have sitting rusts - perhaps may be oil cleaned up), one caliper. Not sure, but may also include about 6 set of Break Rotors, break line/s, spark plugs, etc. Off road Front Lights that may be installed on the unused Front Guard (to be included - see photos), Set of 3 off-road tires (see photos), Set of front headlight (beam) bulbs, etc. [see photos - to many to list]. All carpets are there, of course needs shampoo and cleaning. Leather is in good condition for a 30 years old classic!
I was going to rebuild the car before and convert to electric - but changed my mind. The car still have its two keys. It is an incredible iconic LR to Restore, with its all leather interior.
Not sure if the electric seats works, may need the switche/s replaced, work may need to be done on the AC/Heating - working (blowing). - The sagging interior ceiling fabric, need attention. Definitely would need to change all brake pads, rotors and calipers, etc., (though they may be okay then, they have been sitting in the garage and have rust and may be hard to unlock). With a good mechanical work, and body work on the Tail Lift Gate replacement and painting (if wanting to repaint) this car will become eye popping again. It is definitely a Classic Car, even Land Rover USA sent us a Bag for achieving a Milestone year (several years ago).
Other goodies to be included are LR Repair Manual, Parts Catalogue and other Informational Books will all be thrown in (see photos). Incredible package for an interested LR enthusiast.
DISCLOSURE: I have added the last TWO photos from Pinterest, Auto Restoration/Gumtree, to show you what the possibility of Restoration could look like. Good Luck! I have strived to disclose all about the car extensively. YES, there is Title to the Car available.
