1991 Lexus LS400
Description
This classic Lexus is being sold by my aunt, who is its original (and only) owner. She has driven this car exclusively in the summertime for the last several years. It has been driven fewer than 10,000 miles per year over its lifetime and it has always been kept indoors in a garage. It has been driven gently and maintained religiously. The V-8 engine is strong and the body is in great shape, with no rust at all. The interior is in excellent shape. The leather seats have no rips or tears. The car is smoke-free and accident-free.
This is the top of the line 1991 model, featuring all of the vintage luxury of the 1990s, including full power reclining and heated front seats, a six CD changer, and even a hard-wired cell phone. New tires and brakes were installed less than 6,000 miles ago, and the electrical system was rewired and restored to new in 2016. The Owner's Manual is included, as is the history of maintenance and repair records.
The car does need some work on the suspension to pass inspection. Repairs to the AC and stereo speakers are the only other known issues that this car requires to be in top of the line condition.
This was the very first high end Japanese luxury car, and the fine Japanese engineering is obvious. The deep, rich burgundy color is rare and beautiful. A discerning buyer who performs the previously mentioned work will be rewarded with a vintage 1990s cool, modern classic that s/he will be proud to drive.
